When I joined Salesforce I was the sole creative on the Developer Marketing team. We were a small group yet passionately committed to building a community of makers, dreamers, and doers. No sales talk. Just purpose and inspiration. And then we made Astro, built Trailhead, and the amps went up to 11. And this thing called Trailheart happened because our community and our company said YES. In that order.
My team has become known for creating the iconic Trailblazer hoodie, our fun Salesforce Characters, and influencing the outdoor look and feel for our amazing offices and event experiences. But it takes a village to create what we have. We collaborate regularly with other teams throughout the company to keep Trailhead Design real and extremely delightful, because with every sticker and step forward it’s so important to get it right.
With the company embracing Trailhead Design over more than a few years, it is hard to know where I begin and Salesforce ends. Reflected here are the illustration talents of Paul Rogers, and the love of so many wonderful Salesforce colleagues.

Characters
We specialize in Surprise and Delight. Our characters embrace the fun side of our company and inspire Trailblazers everywhere to be their best.
Illustration
We DRAW our inspiration from nature and it drives our look and feel. Lightweight vignettes are a fresh new twist on some of our enduring favorites.
Line Art
Line art brings life in small doses to empty states. From patterns to frames, we use line art to complement our full-color illustrations or use solo as accents.
Epic Photography
Take in a breath of fresh air. Our imagery always has an authentic and approachable tone. Primary usage is at our events.
Icon Design
Like our line art, icons have been pared down and simplified to show off their boldest, brightest elements. They stand out on all types of media.
Trailblazers
It really is all about them. Our Trailblazers are at the heart of every strategic and creative decision we make. We are dedicated to helping Trailblazers achieve their dreams.
